OBJECTIVES
EMPOWERMENT
To provide individuals with personal experience of mental illness with comprehensible information on their rights as users of health and social services and to give give them voice to speak about how they want to be treated.
FIGHTING STIGMA
To reduce stigma, raise awareness, create understanding and generate knowledge among service providers about the experiences of users of mental health services directly connected with their human rights.
DEVELOPING QUALITY TRAINING MATERIALS
To develop a tailor made training course in human rights applied to care settings, aimed in particular at professionals of health and social services that have people with mental illness among their patients.
