BE RIGHT training course will be a custom made theoretical-practical training tool designed for provision of a sector specific training for health and social professionals in human rights of persons with mental illness. It will contain a comprehensive introduction to key topics and concepts in human rights based health and social services provision but the core of the training will be based on case scenarios as it has been proven to be a very effective teaching technique.
The BE RIGHT training course will have a double focus, on the one hand, to equip the professionals with baseline knowledge about human rights in context of social and health services and, on the other hand, to address practical application of the human rights approach in the context of provision of services to persons with mental health issues. The objective is for Health and Social Service Professionals to be introduced to, sensitized and finally able to put in practice the human rights based approach in their working context.
